The 8550 Series also is durable and rugged with a die-cast aluminum housing and borosilicate hardened glass lens. The 8550 Series uses an internal 50 Watt ballast producing 5000 lumens of light. The ballast and starter are all internal for easy installation without external components to install.
Low Amp Draw
The 50 watt ballast puts off more light than the traditional 35 watt ballast while still only drawing 4.17 amps.

Die Cast Aluminum Housing
The die-cast aluminum housing offers durability for the harshest conditions. Rated at IP-65, it is particle and dust proof as well as spray resistant for water.
