DRIVING LIGHTS
I have to thank you for the opportunity to test these
magnificent driving lights. The solid brackets you made,
have eliminated all the vibration. Once I adjusted them
correctly they work perfectly. However, when I load the
vehicle heavily, it is so easy to4 correct the adjustment.
I have done 58 000 km in the Nissan Patrol since the lights
were fitted and I must say that they have made the night
driving considerably safer.
Our 4x4 Club is by far the largest off road organization in
South Africa with I4 000
people that have accompanied us on offroad expeditions in
Southern Africa in the last 10 years.
Since we only do self-drive expeditions where the people
that accompany us on these off
road expeditions drive their own vehicles, this was the best
testing ground for these
lights. I do about 100 000 km per year of which a lot is
done during the night on real
African roads.
I travel long distances at night and these lights do not
throw one spot, but light up the area next to the road as
well. That makes it so much safer on the R1800 km trip from
Swakopmund in Namibia through Bostwana to our place in
Johannesburg.
As we are two drivers per vehicle, we often drive for ten
hours or more continuously at
night in the very remote area with stray animals, kudos and
other game . With these lights you can spot the animals and
specifically the donkeys soon enough to stop and avoid
collisions.
The area in and next to the road is lighted up in a white
light that feels like daylight and
is not tiring for the eyes.
The very bumpy gravel roads in the south of Namibia are hard
on globes, but these lights seem to be very reliable under
these adverse conditions.
The rest of our club members are very impressed by these
lights and I am sure that you will have most of them as
customers when you get your stock in.
So far there are no signs of any fatigue in any part of the
lights and they are water and dust proof.
When I replace my vehicle at the end of the year, I will
transfer these lights onto my new
4x4.
