HID-Universal installation instructions

1. Installing the new HID bulb:
• Open the front hood or access the factory bulbs from inside the fender wells and remove outer bulbs from stock head light fixture.
• Install Vision X HID bulbs in factory location carefully not touching the bulbs on anything as grease and other oils will damage the bulb.

2. Installing the new Vision X HID Starter Ballasts:
• Mount Ballast on inside of front skid plate or in a location that won’t interfere with the closure of the hood, and where they will be safe and out of the way of moving parts. Make sure the length of wire is long enough from ballast to bulb and not too short that you cannot open the hood. Plug Vision X Bulbs into Vision X Ballasts.

3. Wiring up the lights and ballast:
• Plug black female plug on relay harness into driver side of the factory harness bulb plug using the provided vehicle adapter plug and zip tie remaining passenger factory harness bulb plug out of the way, as you will not need to use this plug anymore.
• Plug the (2) male output plugs from the relay harness into the ballasts making sure the clips are facing the outside of the ballast.
• Run + and – ring terminals on relay harness to battery under driver’s seat and install onto pertinent battery posts, red wire with fuse to red positive (+) terminal on battery and black wire to black negative (-) terminal.
• After you install our Vision X system, please make sure all wires are zip tied tightly, and nothing is exposed or left hanging down.
