Vision X Lighting solutions helped Affordable Used Cars to increase their energy efficiency and reduce light pollution onto neighboring city streets at one of their large used car lots in Fairbanks, Alaska.
By switching from old inefficient lighting technologies to Vision X premium LED lighting technology in 123 of its lot lighting fixtures, Affordable Used Cars was able to save 136,500 kWh and $35,500 a year while increasing light output by 30%. The increase in energy efficiency is also preventing the release of 94 metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions from Alaskan coal fired power plants every year.
