Kent, WA – (9/1/05) Vision X Off-Road, a division of Vision Motorsports, has developed the ultimate H.I.D. Off-road Lighting System for competition & trail. With two available models, the HID 6500 (6.7”) & HID 8500 (8.7”), the series is designed to completely meet the demands of the off-road market through optimum durability, performance and affordability.
The tough die-cast aluminum housing off-road series lights feature the off-road industry’s first integrated ballast without sacrificing mounting depth. Yes, blunders with additional mounting time, material & space required for separate ballasts are now extinct. The mounting depth at 3.4” on each off-road series light is still shallower than any other non integrated ballast HID light on the market!
The ultra simple two-wires & connectors make power-up a breeze, while the aluminum knurled adjustment knobs make adjusting the euro beam fluted lens a hands-only task. Producing 3 times the light of a 55 watt halogen, amperage draw is a mere 4.2amps from the D2 HID 35 watt bulbs. To protect the new investment, Vision provides each light with the “X” Cover, and is also offering a 12mil clear rock cover by 3M for complete lens protection while in use.
