August 11th, 2016 – Vision X Lighting is excited to announce a new range of accessories: New Tube Clamp Mounts; Security Nuts; and Security Bolts. This new range of accessories complements a wide variety of Vision X Lighting Products, allowing you to mount Light Bars like the Long Distance XPR to any 0.75” to 3.00” tubing such as roll cages, bull bars, bumpers and more. The new flat mounting design also allows them to be used with any light such as the 6.7” LED Light Cannon. Prevent theft by combining security nuts and security bolts on your lights’ installation. Lock virtually any Vision X nut or bolt! Security bolts work to secure the bracket to the light, such as on the Optimus while security nuts work to secure the bracket to the mount.

 

More About Tube Clamp Mounts

The updated design of the clamps allows for use with any light or accessory, by providing a flat mounting surface. Available in 9 sizes: 0.75”, 1.00”, 1.25”, 1.50”, 1.75”, 2.00”, 2.25”, 2.50” and 3.00”. Clamps are sold as a pair (2), and feature a rubber insert which allows for additional adjustability in mounting diameter as well as protecting the finish of the tube you are mounting to. Larger size clamps feature a set screw to prevent the clamp from rotating around the tube. Clamp sizes 0.75” through 1.75” feature a through hole for M8 mounting hardware, while sizes 2.00” through 3.00” have a M10 through hole. These durable clamps are made of High Strength Anodized Aluminum. Mounting through holes can be drilled out or used with spacers to adjust size.

 

More About Security Hardware

The security hardware from Vision X comes in several standard metric sizes to fit most lights, but is also a suitable upgrade for any matching size metric hardware. Security nuts secure the mount of your light to the vehicle, by adding security nuts to the base bolt and any base assembly bolts lights cannot be removed without the specially designed key. All security nuts are made of carbon steel and each item includes (2) security nuts and (1) keyed socket tool. All security bolts are made of 304 stainless steel and each item includes (2) security bolts and (1) keyed allen wrench tool. See table below for security hardware applications. Locking security hardware is available for virtually every nut and bolt on Vision X Lights.
