The very first Vision X Night Match Classic presented by Rainier Arms was held at the Paul Bunyan Rifle and Sportsman Club in Puyallup, Washington. It was an Outlaw USPSA format with 48 competitors ranging from Grand Masters to First time shooters. The night event proved to be a great time and great opportunity to extend a night shooting experience.  Often night optics are purchased for firearms, but seldom used or trained with, this event combined the ability to test and extend those skills.

In addition to supporting the event with the LED night lighting effects and strobe lighting, Vision X also hosted a BBQ for everyone at the event. Rainier Arms provided the PCC stage gun and ammo; plus had a bay for competitors to test drive some of their offerings, like a Vortex red dot optic mounted on both a Glock and the Sig MPX. Each competitor also had the opportunity to test their slug slinging skills with a fire-breathing Hayes Custom Guns Benelli M2 shotgun.

The feedback to the first Vision X Night match Classic has been great, and everyone’s already asking when the next event is.  We’ll be sure to let you know!

Special thanks to Jeff Snope, Scott Pries, Paul Cote, Josh Reed and Vinnie Piatek, Jason Canham, Kurt Lindstrom and all shooters for making this event happen!
