Beam patterns
10° and 25° Spot
The spot bean pattern is used primarily as a driving light. The narrow bean creates a focal point accompanied by a “halo effect” which adds peripheral lighting. For applications of high-speed travel where seeing long distance is necessary to avoid potential hazards, the 10 degree and 25 narrow beams provide intense distance.
40° Medium Range Flood
The wide beam pattern is the intermediate beam well suited as a multipurpose light. This beam pattern is normally recommended as a driving beam at lower speeds when you need more peripheral lighting. The wide beam also serves as the optimum balance between distance and width for small to medium industrial vehicles.
60° Wide Area Lighting
The extra wide beam pattern is typically used more for large industrial vehicle lighting. It is necessary when looking to light up a very wide path in front of the vehicle. This beam provides a broad beam of light with a short throw distance.
90° Ultra Wide Area Lighting
The ultra wide beam pattern is typically used to maximize a general work area from an elevated position. Typically used in building lighting or when lighting very large work areas. This beam provides a lighting over a very wide area with less distance.
30/65° Elliptical Low Beam Driving
The ultra wide beam pattern is typically used to maximize a general work area from an elevated position. Typically used in building lighting or when lighting very large work areas. This beam provides a lighting over a very wide area with less distance.
Pulse Width Modulation (PWM)
Using Pulse Width Modulation (PWM), the LEDs are being turned on and off at a frequency quicker than the human eye can detect. This technology allows the LEDs to be driven hard whilst still achieving a long life span of 50,000 hours.
Cable Connections
Even the interfaces between the cabling connection and the light in mining and construction machines are subjected to extreme requirement and the housing connectors are watertight and resistant against oil, chemicals and UV radiation.
Thermal Shock
Thermal shock testing uses a chamber that contains two pre-heated and pre-cooled workspaces with a mechanism that transfers the product between the hot and cold zones during testing.
Multi-Volt Input
Our industry leading multi-volt inputs prevents voltage spikes from damaging the light while also providing a wide range of equipment application that use different standard voltages. Vision X light voltages range from as low as 9 volts up to 65 volts depending on the light model and application requirements.
Vibration Damping System
Our light mounts include engineered and field-tested rubber isolators matched to the light housings and mounting bracket for specific applications. Eliminating metal on metal contact lessens vibration symptoms on; brackets, optics, electronics on circuit board and bolts.
Suspension Mounting System
Suspension mounting with isolated rubber shock mounts to provide vibration ratings up to 60Grms.
Coatings
Marine grade anti-corrosive coating that imparts a low fiction wear resistant surface enabling them to remain unaffected by chemical environments.
Polyester powder coating designed for exterior environments offering excellent long term UV and weather resistance.
